The first of the big festivals start this weekend. If you have not yet seen the Christmas lights, then they will still be on in Santa Cruz until Monday 15th.
The festivities in honor of Senhor Santo Amaro begin on January 11th, in Santa Cruz, ending on January 15th.
On Thursday, January 11th, the highlight was the opening of the 36th ethnographic fair “O Nosso Concelho” by the Rochão Ancient Pilgrimage Group.
On Friday, January 12th, among the vast program, note for the performance of HMB.
Saturday, January 13th, there is a pyrotechnic show, which usually brings together crowds and the following day, the procession in honor of Santo Amaro stands out.
On January 15th, Monday, the session commemorating the day of the parish of Santa Cruz will take place.
