The strong wind that was felt this Tuesday also caused damage in Paul da Serra.
According to Diario Notícias, at least one wind tower was blown down, on a day when the Chão do Areeiro meteorological station reached 143 km/h.
The road is already signposted. DIÁRIO has already contacted the Regional Secretariat for Equipment and Infrastructure in order to find out how many wind towers were affected at the Paul Wind Farm, as well as when the road will be reopened, but so far has not received a response.
In Chão do Areeiro, the strongest gust of wind recorded this morning was 91km/h, at 1:40 am.
