The 1st Soup Festival on the island of Porto Santo, which took place last weekend, was a “success”.
Duarte Mendonça, from the Porto Santo Folklore Group Association, told DIÁRIO “that, despite those questions and expectations as to whether everything would go well or not, fortunately there was a very good turnout”.
“It was very good for our organization, we are really very satisfied, because the people who participated put in a lot of effort and were happy with the way things went”, said the leader of the aforementioned association.
Regarding the future of the event, Duarte Mendonça highlighted to DIÁRIO: “Everything good that happened in this first festival gives us the strength to think about the second edition”.
“I must thank the City Council for the total support they gave us, in logistical and financial terms”, he concluded.
