Albuquerque believes he has the trust of the majority of Madeirans

Let’s hope the Madeirans have a lot more sense.

Asked about how PSD\M activists are approaching the congress and the candidacy, Albuquerque was peremptory: “let’s see what they decide”.

As for not inviting the media to official visits, as has been the case in recent times, Albuquerque said that they “will start now”.

Already asked if he is afraid of being seen as a person who has no say, the resigning president said that “whoever sees this is the opposition, not the majority of Madeirans who always voted for me”, he pointed out, stressing that the PSD is mobilized.

Albuquerque was speaking on the sidelines of the 34th National Hotel and Tourism Congress that is about to start at the Madeira Congress Center. The event promoted by the Portuguese Hotel Association (AHP) runs until Friday, with the theme ‘Horizon 2030’ in line with the 2030 Agenda and the sustainable development goals (SDG).
