Maybe they should look at giving us cheaper Internet and better deals, which have been promised the last few years, but all it does is keep increasing…

The National Communications Authority (Anacom) imposed fines totaling 7.3 million euros in 2023, a 57% drop compared to the same period last year, in the year in which it decided 277 administrative offense cases, it was announced.

“Anacom decided 277 administrative offense cases in 2023, 6% more than the 261 cases decided in the previous year. Of the cases decided, 240 ended with condemnatory decisions, namely the imposition of fines, and 37 with acquittal decisions”, he indicated.

In 2023, the fines imposed amounted to 7.3 million euros, below the 17 million euros in 2022.
