Porto Santo Line cancels Lobo Marinho trips due to bad weather

Not a great start for the return of Lobo Marinho.

Porto Santo Line (PSL) has just announced the cancellation of tomorrow afternoon and evening sailings for the ship Lobo Marinho, due to adverse weather conditions.

“PSL informs that trips tomorrow, February 9, 2024 (Fx-Pxo at 7pm and Pxo-Fx at 10:30pm), will be canceled due to the intensity and quadrant of the wind that makes it impossible to dock the ship, in Porto Santo, in safe conditions”, can be read in the notice that the company is making available on its official internet portal.

It further informs that passengers will be able to “change their ticket, until 3pm tomorrow, February 9th, at our counters or via 291210300 (from 9am to 7pm)”.

Remember that the ship Lobo Marinho was due to restart maritime connections between Madeira and Porto Santo tomorrow, after the usual annual stop for maintenance.

As JM reported today, connections on the 9th and 10th were sold out, given the proximity of Carnival and the mini-vacation period that Madeirans usually take at this time.
