Madeira and Porto Santo are under yellow warning due to the forecast of wind and heavy rain, reveals the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere.
The warning will be in effect between 9am and 6pm on Thursday, February 8th.
In Porto Santo, as well as on the North and South coasts of Madeira, the wind will be from the Southwest with gusts of up to 80 km/h. In mountainous regions, gusts are expected to reach up to 100 km/h.
