Two men, apparently aged between 20 and 30, left a restaurant in Garajau last night, leaving behind an unpaid bill of around 40 euros.
According to the manager of the Frango da Guia do Garajau restaurant, everything happened on Monday night, between 8 pm and 9:30 pm, when two young people sat at a table near the exit.
At a busy time, and taking advantage of a moment when the waiter was busy with other tables, the two men got up and left the restaurant.
“Looking at the images, you can see that they look around to see where the waiter is going and then take advantage of the opportunity. They already knew what they were going to do”, says Horácio Pereira, adding that this was the first episode of its kind in eight years.
