There was at least four planes circulating in the skies above Madeira International Airport – Cristiano Ronaldo due to the wind that is felt in the Santa Cruz area.
At issue is a Binter flight, from Porto Santo to Madeira, which was scheduled to arrive at 7:30 pm, but which has been successively rescheduled; an easyJet Europe flight, from Porto, which was scheduled to arrive at 8:55 pm; another from the same company, but coming from Lisbon, scheduled for 8:30 pm; a Wizzair flight, originating in Katowice, Poland, which should have arrived in the afternoon, but left its origin several hours late.
Until recently, a Ryanair flight from Lisbon was also in the works, which was scheduled to arrive at 8:25 pm and which, at the moment, will be returning to its origin, as confirmed by the official website of Madeira Airport.
Looking at flight radar, the other flights all eventually landed.
