Firefighters look for tourists who got lost today in the mountains of São Vicente

Two tourists were lost today in the São Vicente mountains, in the Agriões area, next to the Business Park.

Apparently, the foreigners left the trail and as they didn’t know how to get back, they asked for help.

The alert was given to the Volunteer Firefighters of São Vicente and Porto Moniz, who are already on their way to the location to begin the search together with the Forest Police.

Apparently the tourists are in good health, just lost.

Rain could make rescue difficult.

These are the kind of tourists who sold be charged for the rescue, as they left the trail, and got themselves list, so hopefully a heavy bill for them.

No updates on the French tourists, so I believe searches have stopped, and their bodies may never be found.

I personally belive they went in the ocean. I don’t believe they would have started walking up and up to start a Levada, when it was getting close to sunset.
