JPP asks for explanations about the nature of work that links Miguel Albuquerque’s daughter to Atalaia Living Care

Never seems to end with this man and his family.

JPP today asked for clarification on the nature of work that links the daughter of Miguel Albuquerque, president of the Regional Government, to Atalaia Living Care, as a market prospector in Sweden, where she lives.

As stated in a note sent to the editorial staff, as part of its monitoring work, the party requested documentary elements to clarify this link, especially following the news that reported a monthly payment of approximately 1,500 euros “to prospect in the Swedish market of elderly people interested in hospitalization at Atalaia Living Care”.

“The JPP requested in writing from IPSS, Atalaia Living Care, among others, clarifications regarding the number of users from Sweden and the respective period of hospitalization during which they were under the care of this association, as a way of assessing the added value of the prospecting work of the worker”, informs the party, which states that it also requested information about the nature of the work and functions of the aforementioned worker in this association, whether directly or indirectly, through the universe of entities with which this association establishes relations, namely Atalaia Living Care – Integrated Health Care, lda or Alerta Green Imobiliária, SA.

“The fight against corruption and influence peddling, as well as the transparent use of public money, are JPP’s main goals. Rigor and transparency must be the hallmark of any government, which is why the JPP will not waive its right to hear, warn or condemn any cases involving bad practices in the use of public money to the detriment of the People, especially in this case as this is a particularly vulnerable population”, he stressed.
