Lamborghini Miura P400 SV brightens Madeira Classic Car Revival

This year’s edition of the Madeira Classic Car Revival is presented today, an event that is part of the 2024 Flower Festival and takes place between Friday and Sunday in downtown Madeira.

484 vehicles will take part, 25 of them dated before 1946.

This event, organized by the Madeira Classic Car Club, features ‘great machines from other times’ on display, and a full program of activities that include the delivery of various trophies for the best vehicles, in the ‘Best of Show’, ‘Restauro’, ‘Elegance’ and ‘Originality’, in addition to a wide range of cultural and musical entertainment in the environment that seeks to showcase and reward the best and most elegant old and classic vehicles in the region.

“This year the ‘standout figure’ goes to the presence of a striking and rare model in Portugal, namely the Lamborghini Miura P400 SV belonging to the Caramulo Museum collection, with the engine installed in a central rear position, transversely, and by considered by many to be the first supercar in the world, with one of the most beautiful bodies in the history of the automotive industry, still relevant today”, said Jornal dos Clássicos in its edition this Monday.

“The Madeira Classic Car Revival thus contributes to the dissemination of the diversity and historical richness of this vast automobile park, in a highly lively environment created for this purpose, delighting aficionados of the automotive world in Praça do Povo between the 24th and 26th of May”, can also be read in the news published by the Portuguese newspaper.
