New restaurant in Porto Santo belongs to a family business but “highly competitive”

Albuquerque says competition to increase holes on the golf course is coming soon.

The most recent space of the Nico’s group has opened in Porto Santo. This is the Lambeca Nico’s store, located in the heart of the city, next to the City Hall. At the inauguration, Miguel Albuquerque praised this “family but highly competitive company”.

The president of the Regional Government believes in the success of this project, taking into account the study and preparation behind this investment. “Success does not appear by chance”, stated the government official.

“It is a way of monitoring economic evolution and the decline in seasonality on the island”, considered Miguel Albuquerque, indicating that businesspeople have been investing in Porto Santo precisely because of the progressive decline in seasonality. The president of the Regional Government stressed that the new Porto Santo Hospital Unit and the expansion of the golf course are two bets by the Madeiran executive in this regard.

The government official says that the competition will soon be opened to provide the golf course with another 10 holes.
