Dining by the sea, watching one of the most attractive sunsets on the island in a shared table concept and indulging in authentic and sustainable products will be possible with Fire Pit dinners. Saccharum’s new gastronomic experience at Calhau Beach Club promises to surprise and captivate all the senses.
From May 24th, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays will be dedicated to one of the experiences that has already won over many fans at Terreiro, the restaurant where Savoy Signature launched this concept in 2022.
The Fire Pit is a circular structure similar to a brazier, the key part of these dinners. Diners will watch live cooking led by the chef, who will cook ingredients grown on the Meia Légua farm over a fire, a plot of land in Ribeira Brava where Savoy Signature produces various organic and sustainable foods. The freshness of the sea also arrives at the table with the best fish at the auction.
The experience begins with a welcome cocktail, followed by a carefully selected four-course menu that combines local flavors and local ingredients. Fire Pit dinners include fish, meat and/or vegetarian dishes and the menu will always be varied and a surprise, as the products used are seasonal.
More than a simple meal, these dinners are a sensorial experience that celebrates local cuisine and provides moments of conviviality and sharing outdoors.
The price is €55 per person with welcome drink.
