Several tourists continue to risk their lives for the best photo for social media at Miradouro do Pináculo. Essentially at the end of the day, many foreigners come to the place to see the view, but ignore the warnings and put themselves at risk on Estrada Conde Carvalhal.
That’s what happened last weekend, when a tourist jumped the fence of this viewpoint and placed herself on the edge of the abyss while her companion captured the best photo for his album.
The act was the target of some criticism from witnesses, who condemned these “irresponsible attitudes” that “put the lives of tourists at risk and the lives of those who are going to save them”.
