The SONAE Group is going to open its 17th store in the region, right in the centre of the municipality of Vicentino. José António Garcês told JM that the project has already been approved and licensed. Work will begin this week and should be completed by the end of the year. “It is expected to create 60 jobs”, the mayor praised. In mandatory taxes alone, the project will generate a return for the local authority of around 200 thousand euros.
