Funchal Jazz Festival kicks off today on the main stage.
With the first concert scheduled for 9:30 pm, there are already dozens of spectators waiting for the doors to open at Parque de Santa Catarina.
On this first of four days on the event’s main stage, Madeira Jazz Collective and the Americans Vijay Iyer Trio will perform.
