In Seixal, Porto beach – made of sand – is full of bathers, including residents and tourists.
The large influx of people to the ‘paradisiacal’ black sand beach is also noticeable in the traffic, which is often chaotic when accessing the Porto do Seixal area.
Low tide – in the early afternoon – guarantees more sunbathing space for hundreds of bathers. A few dozen choose the Porto platform to stretch out.
Although Porto do Seixal beach is not officially a ‘bathing beach’, during the summer season it is now supervised by a lifeguard, due to the influx of younger tourists.
