A taxi caught fire a few moments ago at the exit of the Via Rápida to Garajau, in the direction of Santa Cruz – Funchal.
The Santa Cruz Firefighters are on site with eight operatives, supported by two heavy vehicles and an ambulance.
According to what was possible to determine, the driver was not injured.
