The presence of three people lying on the ground next to a stone bench on Rua Fernão Ornelas is attracting the attention of hundreds of passers-by who are walking along this street in the city of Funchal this Friday afternoon. Some citizens, concerned about the condition of these individuals, have already called the emergency telephone line 112.
But, apparently, the situation is related to the consumption of alcoholic beverages, a problem common to most of the regular visitors to the aforementioned stone bench, located in front of the Fabric Fair.
