There are many tourists who continue to disregard the signs that determine the closure of hiking trails due to the fires that are ravaging the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
In the photographs that DIÁRIO had access to, it is possible to see several people walking around the Ninho da Manta area, which is located just a few meters from the start of Vereda do Areeiro (PR1), one of the most iconic walking routes in the Region.
As previously reported, the Institute of Forests and Nature Conservation (IFCN) advises against traveling in mountain areas.
