A violent accident that occurred this morning on the expressway, after the Porto Novo bridge, in the direction of Funchal-Machico, left one injured.
The victim, whose age was not possible to determine, suffered apparently minor injuries. First aid was provided by the Santa Cruz Firefighters, who ensured his transport to the Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital.
The car suffered extensive damage.
