The Portuguese Air Force’s EH-101 ‘Merlin’ helicopter was conducting a search and rescue training exercise off the coast of Funchal, in the Lazareto area, on the morning of Tuesday, November 4th.
Contacted by DIÁRIO, Bruno Teles, commander of the Madeira Maritime Zone, reported that the NRP Zaire participated in the training, informing that it was just an exercise that took place between 10 and 11 am today.
