At least three planes have already aborted their landing at Madeira International Airport – Cristiano Ronaldo in a short interval of less than 30 minutes this morning, due to weather conditions in the region.
One of the videos, captured by spotters, shows one of the failed landings on the Santa Cruz runway this afternoon.
The first failed attempt involved a Wizz Air aircraft, which ultimately failed to complete its approach to the runway, opting to abort the landing and proceed to a holding pattern.
Shortly after, a second aircraft, operated by Condor, and a third, from Marabu Airlines, encountered difficulties during their approach to the airport, also performing a go-around without completing the landing.
