A 55-year-old woman was caught with 10 kilos of heroin in her suitcase when she arrived at Madeira Airport Sunday morning.
The woman is known to have been a resident in Lisbon for a number of years, and took the Covid-19 test in Lisbon, before arriving in Madeira.
There were also 4 mobile phones and about 800 euros in cash.
