The corpse of a man was recently found at 2.30 pm on Tuesday – on the rocks at the beach of Prainha, in Caniçal.
The man fell from the cliff above the beach.
The Machico Municipal Firefighters and the Maritime Police were called to the scene.
The body will be removed by sea.
