The Belmond Reid’s Palace Hotel survived the First World War and the Spanish Flu, but did not resist the pandemic that is plaguing the world.
The Hotel was forced to close its doors due to the Covid-19 and will enter into a lay-off regime.
According to news reported by RTP-Madeira, the charismatic hotel unit adopts this measure on February 1st.
