The Flower Float Parade will be attended by a real mass of people. There are thousands of Madeirans and tourists who have already positioned themselves or are looking for a place to watch the parade, which just started 20 mins ago at 4.30pm, in what is the most emblematic point of the Flower Festival.
Remember that 14 groups are expected with a total of 1,800 extras, with a large number of children contributing to the beauty of the procession which has been responsible for an increase in tourists at this time in Madeira.
Starting from Praça da Autonomia, on Avenida do Mar and Comunidades Madeirenses (south lane), to Rotunda Francisco Sá Carneiro and Avenida Sá Carneiro, the extras and floats will share with the public the projects, choreographies and flowers chosen for the edition this year.
