A body was found this afternoon on the rocks, in Caniçal, in the Ponta do Castelo area.
Information is scarce, so it has not been possible to ascertain whether it is the corpse of a man or a woman.
The GNR GIPS team rescued the body. The Maritime Police and Machico Municipal Fire Department were on site.
