A fire broke out at dawn on Monday at the Ribeira da Vaca site, in Ponta do Pargo.
The Calheta Volunteer Firefighters were alerted to the fire at 5 am, having deployed a team of ten elements and five vehicles to the site.
For now, this fire, despite its size, does not threaten homes.
