  4. Just to let you all know. Calling the help line, they do speak English. I had to call them last night (false alarm thankfully) and got called back this morning by a doctor who was very through in her questioning (I will add I was informed of a possible situation by my messenger…so was not first hand with the person)…I am impressed with the way they dealt with the query and glad that it reached a good conclusion. So do call that number if you need to.

  6. Called them and they were absolutely great! You need to have the names and seat numbers of the guests and of course keep the guests confined from now on.

  8. I expect the Madeiran authorities would have contacted Transavia to inform their passengers and let them report themselves to the authorities of Madeira or is this not allowed by the privacy rules of the EU?

  9. I was on this flight, but cannot reach the provided nummer. Any recommendations on what tot do?

      1. It immediately gives a recorded message: ‘The Vodafone customer you are trying to reach is unavailable.’ If I hear it correctly. I’m still on Madeira, i tried the number as provided and with +351 in front.

    2. I had the same problem so thought it might be because I was calling them from my mobile… I then called them on my landline…whether or not that was the problem I don’t know but it went through immediately. Hope that helps

        1. Then call 112.
          I have also just had a reply to an email I sent this morning:
          Regarding the current situation, we request that you inform your Dutch clients that Madeira’s first positive case travelled to the island aboard a Transavia flight, from Amsterdam, on the 12th of March. We further require that you inform us regarding the flight upon which your clients travelled to the island.
          Your clients should remain vigilant of their health status, and in case of any symptoms or should they have travelled in the above-mentioned flight, contact IASAUDE at 800 24 24 20 or 112.

          Let me know if you need more assistance

          1. I called 112, they said to call 808 24 24 20 and to call them back if it didn’t work. That number also didn’t work (together with +351 800 24 24 20, 800 24 24 20 and +351 808 24 24 20). I called 112 again and they hung Up after answering, then i called 112 once more and I was disconnected before they even picked up. I don’t know what to do anymore…
