A woman was transferred, this afternoon, in the ambulance of the Madeiran Volunteer Firefighters, from the Marmeleiros Hospital to the Nélio Mendonça Hospital on suspicion of infection with the new coronavirus.
The patient has been placed under observation and is undergoing tests to assess her situation.
This will be the fifth suspected case of infection, the previous ones being all negative.
