Known as the Galo beach, the Galo Resort bathing complex in Caniço de Baixo is a good alternative for those who do not like pebbles and are not afraid to dive in deep waters. In Riviera style, here the access to the water is made through stairs or steps, from small solariums at sea level and it is a true paradise, according to all those who frequent it. .
In COVID-19 times, the space had to be readjusted and the capacity is now limited to 154 people, and access will be monitored at the entrance. The number of sunbeds available will be reduced, raising awareness of the 3 meters of distance between parasols and sunbeds and 1.5m between families and individuals.
We remind you that from now on, social distance is mandatory, as well as the use of a mask when circulating bathers to / from the ticket office / bar and WC, and the hygiene and cleaning of frequently touched surfaces will be reinforced. In terms of access, the elevators will be limited to two people per trip, and it is recommended, whenever possible, that access be made through the stairs.
We also have a social environment and hygiene agent who will monitor and guarantee the measures implemented with new safety equipment. We also have an area for the isolation of suspected cases and signs to raise awareness among bathers. Our lifeguards will, as always, play a key role in beach surveillance.
We take the opportunity to make all bathers aware of this new reality, and on our part we will do everything in our power to guarantee the safety and good environment that we experience every bathing season in this unique complex.
