There are two more patients recovered in Madeira, who “concern a resident in the municipality of Ponta do Sol and one in the municipality of Câmara de Lobos”.
In addition, there is also a record of the recovery of the case reported last Monday, of the individual who arrived in Madeira from the central area where he was infected. Therefore, as determined by the health authorities, this patient was not being counted in the RAM, but in the region of origin.
“We have to inform you that the patient was monitored and the results of the reassessment tests allow us to report the case today as recovered,” the Institute of Health Administration (IASaúde) said.
The 90 confirmed cases recorded in the Region remain, 85 of which are now recovered and five remain active, without the need for hospital care.
