PSP and SEF prevent British passengers from disembarking in Madeira

Dozens of English passengers are stranded on board the British Airways flight at Madeira airport.

A Tui Fly plane arrived empty to carry out a repatriation trip for English citizens.

Dozens of passengers from the UK are being held aboard the British Airways aircraft that landed on Monday morning at Madeira airport, due to restrictions applied because of the new Covid-19 flu in that British country.

At issue is the British Airways flight from London, Heathrow, which arrived at 11:25 am. From Gatwick the TuiFly aircraft arrived, which landed at 11:35 am to carry out a flight for the repatriation of British citizens who were on holiday in Madeira.
