The Air Force C130 plane has already landed on the runway at Madeira International Airport. On board are three patients transferred from two hospitals in Lisbon, which will be transported to Dr. Nélio Mendonça hospital.
The ambulances that will ensure the transport of patients transferred from Lisbon to Madeira are also already at the airport.
There are two ambulances from the Volunteer Firefighters of Câmara de Lobos and one from the Madeiran Volunteer Firefighters, in addition to the medical teams from SESARAM and the medical team from EMIR, who arrived at the airport accompanied by PSP patrols.
At Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital, the teams are already waiting for users.
