PSP is inspecting vehicles and citizens in Garajau, Caniço.
According to Jornal Madeira, many of the vehicles were parked in prohibited places, when there is parking nearby. The esplanades and citizens were also being supervised by the PSP patrol, in order to guarantee individual protection against the covid-19, especially with regard to the use of the mask, social distance and the crowding of commercial spaces.
Most of the people were showing appreciation for the performance of the agents, who sympathetically approached the drivers and citizens.
Always a problem along here, and always very busy, especially at weekends, they just park anywhere, if they can’t park in the shop door, they park anywhere, causing traffic congestion.
