The hot weather and the extremely high temperatures that this Sunday continue to persist in the intermediate elevations and mountainous regions of Madeira are unstoppable. In most locations the temperature continued to rise in recent hours, with emphasis on Prazeres which reinforced the record for maximum temperature, now (until 4 pm) set at 34.7 ºC, an extreme value recorded today.
