  1. Does anyone know where that Rice and Cinnamon Pudding gelato can be found? Sounds amazing!

    1. Gelateria Mil Sabores, Rua de Fernão de Ornelas, Funchal. Low price and always friendly people there. But they don’t always have the same flavours. They even had bolacha and dulce de leche once.

  2. Decided to take advantage of very cheap fares from Edinburgh to Funchal £39 when they are usually 10 times that during the Festive Season. However, I cannot now come as I would be falling foul of the 90/180 day rule and I do not fancy having to stand in queues to get a weekly test when at home, we can take our own at home. So all stocked up and tucked up awaiting a week’s snow forecast to begin tonight! Incidentally, the covid problem in Madeira now, is not down to tourists but to local transmission where people are not taking care. Masks AND 2 metre distance,
    no visitors in your home. Socialise outside only, so easy to follow these rules in Madeira!
