  1. Wow! Thought I was home in Scotland there, although we’ve hardly had any snow where we live.

  4. Wow. Sometime soon. People will go to Madeira not for the tropical weather but for sky Holliday. Good grief. This pandemic that is global warming is real. What are we doing to our world? ?

    1. Atlantic island that sees plenty of rain, combined with deep winter depressioin from the North dumping loads of rain at night (when temps are low) = snow…. I don’t think this is anything particularly new…. rare (maybe once a year or so), but not new. In February of last year we had far more snow than this on the highest peaks, although this time, it settled a little lower.

    2. Global Warming ??

      It very much looks like the Grand Solar Minimum especially when one considers the 50cm Snow in and around Istanbul and the minus 8 degree C on Cyprus.

      Our children were not supposed to ever see snow and here we are. Middle of March and subtropical Madeira has plenty of snow. Sometimes I wonder when a lot of people will start question the narrative and trust their logic and senses. Snow and freezing temps in subtropical locations were not what was predicted, when we were told about AGW 20-30 years ago.
