Fragments of the viaduct fell on Rua 31 de Janeiro

The fragments of the ‘Cota 40’ viaduct that fell this afternoon on Rua 31 de Janeiro, in Funchal, were caused as part of a maintenance action already planned by the Funchal City Council. Intervention that forced traffic to be restricted at the location, as stated in the Public Notice published for the purpose.
