Last week 79 road accidents were reported.
An accident that occurred at the end of the afternoon of this Friday, involving a light car and a goods car, on the expressway towards Funchal-Santa Cruz, next to the Boa Nova interchange, is conditioning traffic in the area.
No injuries were caused and firefighters were not called to the scene.
