At the moment I’m unable to upload photos to my blog, but in the link below you can click and see the photos.
It’s unusual, but it’s not even a first time. The truth is that it never ceases to surprise the huge queue that tourists make to access the Monte Cable Car.
This morning has been the scene, especially with tourism on the rise in August, which coincides with the arrival this Thursday of a cruise ship, the ‘MSC Virtuosa’, which has a capacity of over 6,000 passengers.
The queue for the aforementioned cable car located in Jardim do Almirante Reis, in the old part of Funchal, crosses that square and almost reaches Rua D. Carlos I.
Furthermore, with the heat and the scorching sun, it is admirable to notice that entire families, including children, are predisposed to wait their turn for this experience that, it must be said, many Madeirans will never have experienced in these 23 years since the cable car of the Monte was inaugurated.
