Dozens of fishermen remain on the Ribeira Brava seafront to take advantage of the fish farming cages, which were swept close to the coast by the sea current.
People come from all over to catch dinner, says one of the people who witnessed the gathering of fishermen. It feels like you’re watching the series ‘Rabo de Peixe’, but this time with fish actually washing up on the shore.
The cages broke free from the Campanário area at sea, and washed up close to the seafront of Ribeira Brava after Saturdays storm.
