As DIÁRIO has already reported, Funchal City Council will once again promote, on December 31st, a free New Year’s Eve party, in Parque de Santa Catarina. The duo Sandra & Ricardo, who are part of the event’s poster, left an invitation today to “everyone who decided to welcome the new year on the island of Madeira”.
This Sunday, the international duo performs, at 10 pm, as part of their ‘Tour2023’.
The singing brothers will be accompanied by their band, which has embraced this project in recent years.
“We are happy to end this 2023 doing one of the things we love most: Singing, sowing joy, hope and optimism, in the capital of the Region where we began our artistic career, almost 30 years ago”, highlights Ricardo, quoted in a press release.
With a varied repertoire, paying homage to the people of the world, Sandra & Ricardo will travel musically through various genres and styles, without forgetting their compositions.
“In 2023 we had the opportunity to present new material from the duo: ‘One Day They Will Realize’, ‘Ser Feliz’ and ‘El Hombre de los Milagros’. Together and accompanied by excellent artists, both Portuguese and international, this coming year you will be able to enjoy other musical innovations that make us happy with the result obtained”, promises Sandra.
The concert program, at Parque de Santa Catarina, also includes performances by Miguel Pires (through his project ‘We Love Portugal’), Galáxia, Dupla de 2 and final entertainment by DJ Sérgio Soares. The doors to the venue open at 8pm on December 31st and close at 3am on January 1st.
