Nuno Gomes, aged 40, born in Madeira, passed away in Germany, on Saturday, where he had emigrated for five years.
Father of two young girls, aged 12 and 13, his sister, Sandra Navalha, took the initiative to raise funds through the ‘Gofundme’ platform to bring the body to his homeland.
Other family members of the emigrant have made appeals on social media.
The goal is to reach around 11 thousand euros (10 thousand pounds).
Regarding the causes of death, no details are given, only that it was something unexpected.
