A passenger reportedly felt unwell and went into cardiorespiratory arrest on board a plane traveling between Tenerife and Glasgow, a source from the Regional Civil Protection Service confirmed to JM.
Emergency services were activated at the Madeira airport sign while the plane was making an emergency landing.
Despite the prompt action of the rescue teams from Firefighters Sapadores da Santa Cruz and EMIR, it was impossible to reverse the situation, with the body still on board the plane, awaiting the arrival of the health delegate.
Only after that, the body will, apparently, go to the morgue at Dr. Hospital. Nélio Mendonça, being in charge of the judicial and health authorities.
