The Municipal Library of São Vicente opened its doors to the “Christmas in Art” exhibition, which brings together Christmas works from Institutions, Day Centers, the Senior University and schools in the municipality.
“The works presented in the Christmas exhibition, created by artists of various ages, express the creativity and imagination of each person”, reads a statement, which highlights that “the works, which use different techniques, portray Christmas in a lively and original way, representing the way this era is lived and celebrated in each institution”.
This initiative by São Vicente City Council was carried out in partnership with Adenorma; Bom Jesus Social and Parish Center in Ponta Delgada; Bom Jesus Nursery in Ponta Delgada; Grow without Risk; CACI of São Vicente; Casa do Povo of Ponta Delgada; Casa do Povo da Boaventura; São Vicente Social, Cultural and Parish Center; Senior University; Basic School for the 1st cycle with PE and Creche de São Vicente and Escola Básica e Secundária Dona Lucinda Andrade. The works can be visited until January 15th in the Municipal Library Exhibition Room.
