The Police are investigating a crime of robbery, under threat of a knife, at a fuel filling station in Caniço.
According to DIÁRIO, the armed robbery was carried out on Sunday night by an individual with a hood on his head who burst into the BP service station, on the Pedra Mole site, in Caniço.
Under threat of a sharp weapon, the intruder coerced the employee into handing over a sum of money in an amount presumed to be a few thousand euros, corresponding to the result of the day’s invoicing.
The crime was reported to the Police, which must collect elements for the criminal investigation, namely viewing the images from the internal video surveillance circuit.
Given the nature of the crime, the investigation must fall to the Judiciary Police.
