The body found this Thursday in the Pináculo area is already rescued, and the body that was rescued by the Madeiran Volunteer Firefighters was left in the hands of the health authorities and police officers who are at the scene.
After the examinations carried out on the body and collection of any samples, the corpse will be sent to the Legal and Forensic Medicine Service of the Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital.
The newspaper knows that the authorities are only able to determine, at this time, that the body is that of an adult male.
The case is now under the jurisdiction of the PJ, with this criminal police body being responsible for collecting as much evidence as possible that could contribute to identifying the body and clarifying the causes of death.
